BSTI Annual Meeting 2026-welcome address
The British Society of Thoracic Imaging Committee have the pleasure of welcoming you to the September 2026 Annual Society Meeting in the vibrant city of Manchester. The meeting will be held at the prestigious Bridgewater Hall, an iconic venue in the heart of the city and one of Manchester’s most renowned cultural landmarks.
Our comprehensive programme aims to provide updates on thoracic imaging topics of broad and current interest, delivered by experts in their field. The meeting offers an excellent opportunity for professional development and networking within a friendly atmosphere. We also hope to provide trainees with plenty of incentives to join the junior thoracic radiology community and to continue strengthening engagement with the next generation of thoracic imagers. In addition, reporting radiographer colleagues are invited to attend for their learning and to collaborate with discussions by bringing their experience and perspective.
There is the opportunity to meet and discuss the first day’s events at our drinks reception in the Bridgewater Hall after the programme ends. Following this, the course dinner will take place at the distinguished Manchester venue, 20 Stories, offering breathtaking views across the city whilst delegates and faculty can continue conversations and strengthen professional connections in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
We look forward to welcoming both existing BSTI members and new delegates to what we hope will be an inspiring and memorable meeting.
