Qualifications: Registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR); in the absence of FRCR, they are on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register and have radiology training and qualification accepted for equivalence which has led to the award of a Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR)]
Experience: Reporting a minimum of 500 thoracic CTs per annum in their routine clinical practice, a significant proportion of the CTs are where there is a suspicion of lung cancer; and regular attendance at a thoracic MDT meeting (includes virtual attendance) as part of their routine clinical work.
Please note: Applications will close on the 22nd March 2026. Approval from your Responsible Radiologist should be completed by 31st of March. It is your responsibility to ensure the person you name as your Responsible Radiologist is aware you are nominating them, you are strongly advised to check they have approved your application before the above deadline.
Once the approval date has passed you will receive an email with infomation about the course along with some pre course activities, which must be completed to qualify for the session, this will be send approximately 14 days prior to the session.
If you have registered but have not been validated by your Responsible Radiologist you will not be included in the pre course activity or the LCS session
